TEAP FC scored three times in the opening 24 minutes to beat MFM FC 3-1 and qualify for the semi finals of the 2013 Abuja Pre Season Tournament.

Tunde Adams scored the opener, while Emeka Uzor netted a brace. Aneke David's header reduced the deficit but TEAP claimed the victory.

The Nigeria National League side are yet to loose a match in the competition. They have qualified for the semi finals and are not short of confidence.

MFM were never in this contest as confident TEAP took the game.

The Redeemers were rewarded when Chibuike Chimezie superbly-placed intelligent pass found Tunde Adams, who beat Abdul Ganiyu.

The MFM keeper picked the ball out of his own net again 12 minutes later when Emeka Uzor pounced on to score. It was a move that Chibuike started from his won half.

Emeka headed from a Jay Jay Okocha type freekick, which was whipped in by Chibuike. It was his 4th goal of the season, which put Donald Malomo's boys in control.

MFM could have reduced the arrears moments after the break when Emmanuel Silas failed to test Ike Dike.

They scored immediately through David Aneke's goal mouth effort. The second half recorded less shots from the two sides.

Chibuike was named man-of-the-match for his involvement in the three goals scored by the winning team.

Meanwhile, best player of the match, Chimezie Chubuike has mused that TEAP FC are getting better with games played since the pre-season programmes started in October.

The Abuja boys are gearing up for the semi finals of the on-going Abuja Pre-Season Tournament, with the 2013/2014 Nigeria National League kickoff also on their horizon.

For the Umuahia boy, he fear no one in the warm-up event, he believe his side cannot be ruled out at all.

“We are on a phase and our pillar is God,” considered to teapfcabuja.blogspot.com

“Having defeated MFM in the Quarter Final, we won't be complacent and always seek the favour of God in all what we do.”

The starlet also spoke of his performance on the pitch.

“Everyone have a way of judging the ability of footballers. I just want to show the coaches that my best is yet to come. With more games under my belt, I would get better.

Chibuike aka KC praised Donald Malomo for the impact he had made in his developing football career.

''We are lucky to be under the watchful eyes of a UEFA Pro License gaffer. Coach Malomo is a motivator, who knows how to get the best from a player.
